Health and Fitness Tip of the Week #2
Avoid scheduling cheat meals or cheat days. I’m not saying not to cheat now and again, but scheduling it creates anticipation. By looking forward to that cheat meal all week you’re more likely to overdue it. So instead of looking at the “bad food” you enjoy as a reward for your hard work, look at it as just food.
Balance is key, avoid extremes if you want success. Overdoing your cheat meal is an extreme, but so is overdoing your diet. Look to add good nutrient rich foods to your diet. Minimize junk food slowly, but don’t worry about eliminating it completely. Have the occasional slice of pizza or two, just not every day or too much at once. Eventually you will crave it less and less.
